Day 9: My Therapist is a soft-spoken & quick-whip of a woman (in her fierce 70’s)

I see a therapist once a week and because it has positively impacted my life, I thought I would share a bit of how I started and why I stayed.

*NOTE: I’m me…not a doctor or certified mental health anything…so this is purely my story and my light I’d like to share…but not everything works the same across individuals. So maybe therapy isn’t your thing! But, if you think it might be…and you are a novice to the subject (like I once was)…feel free to reach out to me with questions! No question is too silly or stupid…and everything shared between us is confidential ❤️

Cliffnotes:

A very special ‘THANK YOU’ to my two friends, Kelsie & Britney, for supporting me during that confusing and dark time of my life. Being the help a friend needs isn’t always easy (and takes it’s own form of bravery). You truly saved my life and I think about you everyday ❤️

With love and a wheelbarrow full of gratitude,
Meg
